We were happy to see
over 100 law firm representatives and investors from around the world
participate in the International Corporations - Israeli Subsidiaries 2020
Webinar. In it, Eyal Eliezer, our Head of Strategy and Marketing, and other
speakers from Barnea Jaffa Lande discussed the business and governmental
cross-sector initiatives that are suddenly facing new barriers, following the
recent Covid19 outbreak.
Eyal presented the many
ways Invest in Israel assists international corporations, investors and Israeli
entrepreneurs to see it through the Covid-19 crisis. He also mentioned the
tireless efforts of Invest in Israel to ensure the legal management of the
Israeli presence is effective and in line with corporate policy and direction.
Eyal encouraged participants
to see the current crisis as an opportunity to leverage their activity in
Israel. While it is necessary to focus on the operational restrictions and
legal risk international corporations are dealing with, it is even more
important to discuss the ways in which we can overcome these.
Many companies are
already taking this approach. Cross-government support, industry initiatives
and ongoing academic research, are all examples of how Israel has buckled down
in the fight against the coronavirus crisis.
